You were proud Knights once, the finest of your generation, until the Conquerors came. They rode astride great and terrible beasts, binding you and yours to their nefarious purposes. They bound you in the world beneath the world, where you could no longer practice your faith or protect your people. Humiliated and spat upon, downtrodden and left for dead.

They wished to see you crumble. To be humbled and prostrate before them. But they could not break your spirit.

All of you held a collective breath. Waiting for the opportunity to arise. Biding your strength, pledging desperate oaths to the spirits of your forefathers, holding out for a sliver of hope. But every day grew a little darker. Your souls grew cold and you resigned yourselves to this life that was not a life. This mere facsimile of existence.

And then you discovered the tools of your freedom. Weapons that had seen blood spilt, whose souls of iron and anger too cried out for vengeance and a price in blood. It is a desperate quest you embark on, seeking to slay the men and beasts that have kept you captive. But there can only be freedom or death.

THE HUNT BEGINS.

This supplement requires a copy of the core Hunt book to play. All content in Tyger, Tyger is cross-playable with any and all Hunt content.

In Tyger, Tyger, you play disparate knights of a makeshift Order, bound together not by ritual oaths and history but by the burning desire for freedom. Your Oaths are pledged out of desperation, which means they are liable to consume you faster in both body and soul. Rather than seeking to enter the forest your aim is to escape from it, your captors and their Beast the final obstacle to freedom.

You will fight against the whims and forces of a singular Conqueror, eventually contending against both Conqueror and Beast. Conquerors not only have thematic resonance but also have their own active and passive Powers, creating more potential challenges for your Hunt’s concluding battle.

Included in the Tyger, Tyger Season Pass are:

  • A new setting for HUNT which combines magic and metal
  • Four new Oaths of desperation that you may swear by.
  • Four new Weapons to help even the odds against your captors.
  • Four new forms of Beast to overcome with mettle and wit.
  • Four Conquerors, each with unique challenges to surpass.

The aim is to release content on a weekly or biweekly basis.  All releases will be announced here via the devlog and external emails, so that you know when the next batch of content is out.

Tyger, Tyger was originally created for the HUNT Jam. Please don't hesitate to check out all the other HUNT goodness out there!

Heya! Question about the Conquerors; I was going to run a 6-man game using a fully perked-out FIERCE beast instead of a conqueror, both beasts act and move separately on same turn; where would you say the Conquerors compare to the FIERCE beast? Have you tried running Conquerors for larger parties?

With a beast you have a much larger area to hit comparatively. I'd say with the Conquerors you have to be more careful with your spacing/formation!
