Bad Time Game SRD

Want to have a good time by making characters have a bad time? You're in luck! 

The Bad Time Game System is a d4 based system that results in inevitable failure. Now, here's the gist of it:

• Players roll four d4 dice, trying to roll UNDER a target.
• For each point in a relevant stat, they roll one less die.
• Roll under, they succeed. Roll over, they fail.
• Roll 16? They die.
• For every failure, +1 modifier!
• If you die, you come back as a ghost and can bother the living. Somehow.

If you read that list above, you now have the basics of creating a Bad Time Game! But if you want some more insight, commentary, and ways to break this game down, that's what this SRD is for! Currently the SRD is available as an ashcan text file, but it is also available on Fari Games as a web-based file and will soon be available as a PDF! Downloading also gives you access to the sickass Bad Time Game logo designed by the Lone Archivist, which you can stick anywhere on your game to declare it a BAD TIME GAME!
